Hello — I’m Lucy.
I live a slower, softer life now—not because I chose it, but because fibromyalgia, fatigue, and a sensitive nervous system asked something different of me.
For a long time, I resisted that. I kept pushing. Trying to return to who I had been. Trying to keep pace with a life that no longer fit.
Until, eventually, my body made something clear:
💫 Slow down
💫 Listen
💫 Live differently
From The Fables grew from that shift.
This is a space for quiet recognition—for the kinds of experiences that are real, but often hard to name. Through gentle storytelling, old myths, and modern reflections, I write about the invisible patterns of hard days:
- when something feels missing
- when energy misleads you
- when your mind won’t quite stay
- when nothing is moving
- when you’re simply… enduring
This space is for you if you crave:
💫 slower rhythms
💫 less pressure, more tenderness
💫 sustainable ways to work, create, and rest
💫 language for what you’re living through
💫 slower rhythms
💫 less pressure, more tenderness
💫 sustainable ways to work, create, and rest
💫 language for what you’re living through
I don’t believe our limitations are failures. I think they reveal a different way of living—one that is quieter, more honest, and often more compassionate.
You’re welcome here—exactly as you are.
